Service Description

When: Saturday 3rd January 2026 Time: 2-5pm Where: Calm Heart Yoga (Frankston) Begin the new year with an afternoon devoted to gentle release, grounding, and renewal. The 3-hour Somatic Release Mini-Retreat is designed to help you unwind physical, mental, and emotional tension through slow, mindful movement and deep rest. Together, we’ll explore the body’s natural capacity to soften, regulate, and restore balance when given time and care. You’ll be guided through a series of somatic and restorative practices that support nervous-system regulation and embodied awareness. Our afternoon includes tapping, spiral and wave-like movement, orienting, self-holding, and exploring the felt sense - gentle techniques that help reintegrate body and mind, enhance self-awareness, and foster a sense of stability and inner calm. You’ll experience: - Somatic movement for subtle release and reconnection - Exploring the felt sense, orienting, and self-holding - Restorative yoga to soothe and ground - Cleansing breathwork and grounding meditation - Yoga Nidra for deep rest and integration - Tea, fruit, and sweet treats to complete the afternoon This workshop offers a gentle and nurturing space to begin the year with presence and care - to feel more grounded in your body and connected to your natural state of ease. No prior yoga experience is needed. Simply come as you are, ready to move softly, rest deeply, and reconnect within.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS Be assured that all possible care will be taken by Calm Heart Yoga for your well-being during the workshop. However, it is up to you to accept full responsibility for yourself once you enter Calm Heart Yoga for a yoga session or workshop. The guidance given throughout each class is on general lines only. It is up to you to adjust your practice according to your individual limitations, to make sure no injuries occur. You must stop if you experience pain in any joints whilst in the pose, and stop if you are fatigued, dizzy, nauseous or experience pins and needles. WORKSHOPS We do not offer refunds or credits on workshops for change of mind, injury, illness, change of address or any other reason. All purchases are final. Full payment is required upon booking. If you cannot attend, you may transfer your workshop ticket into another person’s name by emailing us at info@calmheartyoga.com.au at least 4 hours before start of workshop. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early. Studio doors will open 15 mins before the workshop start time.
