FOR BUSHFIRE RELIEF

Join us for a one hour collective meditation on Valentine's Day. It is an opportunity to join together and meditate as a group and as a community to send peace and loving kindness out into the world.
All proceeds will go to the Mallacoota Wildlife Shelter who have been working tirelessly to help injured wildlife following the tragic bush fires that swept through Mallacoota on New Years Eve.

Yogic Philosophy on the Mat

Explore the Yamas & Niyamas (Yoga's ethical practices) with Sally MacGowan over 10 weeks. This unique and one of a kind course will run on 10 consecutive Wednesday evenings 6.30-8.30pm commencing the 22nd January 2020.
Each week we will focus on one of the Yamas & Niyamas during a two hour weekly immersion, including a focused yoga practice to help deepen your understanding of the philosophy, an exploration of the practical application of the ethical practice in every day life, and a group discussion. You will also be invited to join a private facebook group for weekly discussions and practices.
This is a wonderful opportunity for yoga teachers to explore and deepen their understanding of the Yamas & Niyamas and also for yoga practitioners to learn the 10 ethical principles of yoga from Patanjali's eight limbs.

BHAKTI YOGA WORKSHOP

Join us on Sat 8th February 2-5pm for a Bhakti Yoga Mini-Retreat with special kirtan artist Cara Leah. Bhakti Yoga is classically defined as the path of devotion, and is often referred to as the yoga of love.

This mini-retreat will include yoga postures, breathing practices, mantra repetition and relaxation/meditation, guided by Sally. Followed by a Kirtan session with Cara, which is an ancient call-and-response form of chanting. Cara is a local ayurvedic practitioner, yoga teacher & kirtanists who loves kirtan and its ability to open the heart and connect to the devine within. We are very excited to have Cara and her harmonium join us at
Calm Heart Yoga. As per usual, chai & delicious snacks will be served.

Restorative Yoga & Reiki Healing
with Sally MacGowan & Maite Rivela
Join us on Saturday 16th November for this very special combined restorative yoga and reiki healing workshop over three nourishing hours. In this special workshop we combine two ancient Eastern traditions to deeply revive and energise your body and mind. Combined, they allow energy to flow to the places where it is needed most & work together to promote healing.
Sally MacGowan (senior yoga teacher & owner Calm Heart Yoga) will guide you through the restorative yoga practice, pranayama and meditation.
Maite Rivela (yoga teacher and Reiki Master) will provide hands on reiki healing to each participant during the restful yoga practice and guide you through self-healing reiki practices you can do at home.
Sweet natural treats and a warm cup of antioxidant rich cacao (hot chocolate) will be provided.
